Tom Wynn

CEO/CIO

Tom Wynn is founder and CEO/CIO of Monashee Investment Management, LLC. Prior to Monashee, Mr. Wynn co-founded Leerink Partners in 1995; over the ensuing decades the firm established itself as a leading healthcare investment bank, completing more than 500 capital markets transactions for innovation-driven and growth-oriented healthcare and life sciences companies. Under his leadership, Leerink built out its Institutional Sales and Distribution teams, as well as Asset Management and VC/Corporate Services capabilities. Previously, Mr. Wynn was with Lehman Brothers, where he managed both equity and debt portfolios for bank trust companies and family offices/high net worth individuals. ​

In addition to his more than 30 years of experience spanning equity capital markets, trading, corporate governance and healthcare innovation, Mr. Wynn remains very active in entrepreneurial ventures and strategic philanthropy. He is the co-founder of The Wellesley Restaurant Group; previously on the board of the Juvenile Diabetes foundation, he is dedicated to healthcare-related and charitable causes including The Julie Fund, The Pan Mass Challenge, and Find the Cure for Breast Cancer. ​

Mr. Wynn holds a BA from Fairfield University and a JD from Suffolk Law School.
