Mike Spicer

Mike Spicer manages Convertible Bonds and Derivative Securities at Monashee Investment Management, LLC.

Prior to Monashee, Mr. Spicer worked at Morgan Stanley, where he was an Executive Director within the Institutional Equities Division and a senior member of the Equity Derivatives and Convertible Securities sales and trading teams. In this dual-role, Mr. Spicer worked with the many of the largest global institutional clients with idea generation, strategy implementation, and trade execution of OTC and listed derivative securities, index swaps, and global convertible bonds. During his seven years at Morgan, Mr. Spicer regularly collaborated with the Equity-linked banking division to price and place many of most high-profile convertible transactions across all sectors, and he was instrumental in the development of US Convertible Securities Sales and Trading team into one of the premier convertible trading desks on Wall Street. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Spicer honed his sales and trading skill sets across convertibles and derivatives at both Deutsche Bank and Piper Sandler. Mr. Spicer graduated from Boston College in 2007, where he majored in Finance.
